DPCC Committees
DPCC has five (5) standing committees: Nominations and Elections, Outreach, Program, Awards, and Constitution and By-Law.
Manages the nomination process and elections, ensuring diverse and board-approved candidate slates. Contacts nominees, collects required materials, and oversees the voting process.
Maintains the Division’s visibility, focusing on the intersection of people of color and crime.
Serves as a liaison to the ASC Program Committee, nominates members for the annual ASC Program, and publishes program highlights on relevant sessions.
Oversees the awards nomination process, reviews candidates’ qualifications, and presents awards for significant contributions in race-and ethnic-based scholarship and service.
Reviews and recommends changes to the Constitution and By-Laws to the Executive Board and the Division membership, conducting a thorough review at least once every five years.
